Production
The 2020 vintage will be known for its contrasting weather patterns, from cold spring nights and a dry summer. A cooler growing season slowed ripening resulting in higher acid in white wines. Sourced from the Porter family, our long term grower in the Adelaide Hills.
Matured in a mix of new and used oak for 6 months. Weekly battonage helped create a full and creamy mouthfeel and balance out acidity.

Tasting notes
Striking aromas of lemon and peach open up to a palate of tropical stone fruit and lemon. The oak treatment has produced a wine with a wonderful richness and mouthfeel. The wine comes together with fine acid balancing the fruit and oak. Classic Australian Chardonnay lead by its tropical fruit flavours.
Food match
Pair with wok tossed Thai herb barramundi with Thai rice noodles or crispy skinned spatchcocks with a honey drizzle. Drinking best 1-5 years.
