'Tout près des Étoiles' - translates to 'closer to the stars'. A rosé to enjoy on a warm summer's evening
Production
La Bastide des Deux Lunes is located in Puget-Ville, in the middle of the Permian depression that surrounds the Massif des Maures from Toulon to St Raphael, and which separates the crystalline Provence from the limestone Provence. Bertrand Dubois manages the 22ha estate using 'lutte raisonnée' (reasoned agriculture) and works closely with Olivier Duffort (formerly of Château Moutete).
La Bastide des Deux Lunes Rosé Côtes de Provence 2023 (6 bottles case)
Vivino ratings
Tasting notes
Very pale (almost translucent) salmon pink. Aromatic, ripe stone fruits and pink grapefruit on the nose. Fine and nicely balanced on the palate. Refreshing yet properly satisfying as you'd expect from a good Côtes de Provence rosé.
Food match
Serve lightly chilled and accompany with seafood, Mediterranean dishes or just by itself.

Meet the producer
Located 34 miles west of Saint-Tropez, La Bastide des Deux Lunes is a small, family owned estate in the heart of Provence. Inheriting the land from his grandparents in 2000, Bertrand Dubois knows every inch of his 22 hectares of vineyards and he ensures that each vine is meticulously tended. Since 1940, the family had sold its grapes to a local co-operative, but in 2012 Bertrand built a brand new winery and now bottles his own wines.
