Well-made, authentic Gavi from the Manfredi family's cellars.

Production

The Cortese vines are guyot trained and planted in chalky clay soil (planting density of 3800 vines per hectare). Grapes are hand harvested towards the end of September, sorted, selected and softly pressed - stalks and skins are immediately separated. The must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature (about 18 degrees) for 30 days, and remains at low temperatures until being bottled.

  • Meet the producer

In 1930, Giuseppe Manfredi purchased vineyards and a farmhouse in Langhe and began to make wine. His family followed in his footsteps, and today the winery is owned and run by Aldo Manfredi and his daughters who have brought the estate up to date with modern technology and production techniques.

Set in the beautiful rolling hills of the Langhe valley, the Manfredi family produces and sources high-quality Barbera d'Alba, Barolo and Gavi di Gavi. The family also has 20 hectares of prime Dolectto vineyards at its Bricco Rosso estate in Dogliani.
